AI Page Summarizer handles the following data, all of which stays on your device:
chrome.storage.local, accessible only to this extension.
Never sent to any server we operate.

data stays on your device and is never transmitted.
When you summarize a page, its text content is sent to the AI provider you configured in Settings. Each provider has its own privacy policy:
You are responsible for reviewing the terms of your chosen provider. This extension does not endorse or control any third-party service.
This extension requests the following Chrome permissions:
No other permissions are requested. The extension does not access tabs you haven't explicitly triggered it on.
All data (API key and cached summaries) is stored locally in your browser and can be removed at any time by clicking Remove Key in Settings or by uninstalling the extension. Summaries are automatically evicted after 24 hours and the cache is capped at 50 entries.
This extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
